Academy 1/48 PBJ-1D USMC (B-25 Mitchell) – 12334

Build the U.S. Marine Corps PBJ-1D, the Marine Corps version of the famous B-25 Mitchell medium bomber, in 1/48 scale. The B-25 served throughout World War II in virtually every theater, while Marine Corps PBJ aircraft were especially important in the Pacific, where they were used for bombing, anti-shipping, and ground-attack missions.

Academy's 12334 PBJ-1D features detailed cockpit and interior components, a detailed bomb bay and landing gear, finely engraved panel lines and rivet detail, and a paint masking seal to help with the finishing process.

The kit includes markings for six aircraft, representing Marine Corps PBJ-1D units operating in the Pacific during 1944. Options include aircraft from VMB-413 "The Flying Nightmares," VMB-433 "The Fork-Tailed Devils," and VMB-611 "The Six-Eleven."
