The AFV Club 1/48 Tiger I Early Version depicts the legendary German Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E Tiger I, Sd.Kfz. 181 in its early-production configuration. Kit AFV48002 is a highly detailed 1/48 scale armor kit featuring finely reproduced vehicle details and photo-etched components.

The kit includes photo-etched engine-deck grilles, a photo-etched anti-aircraft machine-gun sight, and flexible one-piece vinyl tracks. The commander's and loader's hatches can be built either open or closed, giving modelers additional display options.

Markings are included for five early Tiger I vehicles, including examples from the Eastern Front and Tunisia.
