Product Description

Skill Level: Intermediate
Best For: Builders of WWII U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aircraft in 1/72 scale.

The Airfix Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat (A02070A) is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit.

The F4F Wildcat was the U.S. Navy's main carrier fighter in the first year of the Pacific War, holding the line at Coral Sea, Midway and Guadalcanal. The F4F-4 introduced folding wings so more aircraft could fit aboard carriers.

Beginner-Friendly Note: Plan your painting before you start. Many sub-assemblies are easier to paint before final assembly. Use thin plastic cement sparingly and test-fit major parts before gluing.
