Fine Molds 1:35 IJA Medium Tank Type 1 Chi-He
The Fine Molds 1:35 IJA Medium Tank Type 1 Chi-He accurately recreates the Imperial Japanese Army's most advanced production medium tank of World War II. Developed as the successor to the Type 97 Chi-Ha, the Chi-He featured improved welded armor up to 50mm thick, a more powerful 240-horsepower diesel engine, and the effective Type 1 47mm tank gun, giving it significantly better protection and anti-tank capability than earlier Japanese designs. Although production began in 1943, most Chi-He tanks remained in Japan to defend the homeland and saw little combat before the end of the war.
Fine Molds has faithfully reproduced the Chi-He's distinctive welded hull, detailed suspension, and late-war features. The kit includes realistic glue-assembled plastic tracks that naturally reproduce track sag, a detailed gun breech, and decals for seven different vehicles, making it an excellent addition to any collection of Japanese World War II armor.
