The HobbyBoss 1/35 US T30 Heavy Tank – 84512 recreates one of America's largest experimental heavy tanks. Developed alongside the T29 near the end of World War II, the T30 was designed around a massive 155mm main gun. Only a small number of pilot vehicles were ultimately constructed, with testing continuing after the war.

This is a substantial 1/35 scale project with more than 1,100 parts across 17 sprues, plus separate upper hull, lower hull and turret components. HobbyBoss uses multi-slide molding for the turret and lower hull, and the kit includes photo-etched detail parts. The completed model measures approximately 332mm long and 109mm wide.

Additional details include positionable hull hatches, a movable bow machine gun, separate commander's cupola and crew hatches, an M2 .50 caliber machine gun, turret storage rack, gun travel lock, exhaust system and hull storage bin.

Beginner-Friendly Note: With more than 1,100 parts, photo-etched components and extensive running-gear detail, this is a complex build best suited to experienced modelers.
