HobbyBoss 1/48 TBM-3 Avenger Torpedo Bomber – 80325

Build the legendary TBM-3 Avenger with HobbyBoss's 1/48 scale plastic model kit. The Avenger was one of the U.S. Navy's most important torpedo bombers of World War II, serving in the Pacific and continuing in service in multiple roles long after the war.

HobbyBoss's 80325 kit features 213 parts across 11 sprues, including 197 light gray plastic parts and 24 clear parts. The kit includes a detailed cockpit and landing gear, a finely detailed radial engine, and photo-etched components for added detail.

The wings can be built in either the extended or folded position, making it possible to display the Avenger ready for flight or configured for carrier storage. Optional flap positions provide additional display possibilities.

Two U.S. Navy marking options are included: a TBM-3 from VT-83 aboard USS Essex (CV-9) in April 1945 and a TBM-3 from VT(N)-90 aboard USS Enterprise (CV-6) on March 8, 1945.
