The Italeri 1/48 JAS 39 Gripen Twin Seater depicts the two-seat version of Sweden's advanced JAS 39 Gripen multirole fighter. Designed for advanced pilot training while retaining the Gripen's impressive performance and multirole capabilities, the twin-seat aircraft can also perform reconnaissance and ground-attack missions.

This detailed 1/48 scale plastic model kit features a well-appointed cockpit, detailed landing gear and gear bays, positionable canards, and a detailed exhaust nozzle with movable exhaust flaps. The canopy can be displayed open or closed, while the radome can also be positioned open or closed. External stores are included, along with a new decal sheet offering four marking options from Sweden, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and South Africa.

At approximately 307mm long with a 140mm wingspan, the finished Gripen makes an impressive display model for modern military aircraft enthusiasts.
