Product Description

The Liang Model LIANG-0229A Tools for Zimmerit Coat – Basic is a specialized modeling tool set designed to help reproduce the textured Zimmerit coating found on German armored vehicles during World War II. The tools are designed for 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72 scale models.

The set uses texture rollers and stamps to create consistent Zimmerit patterns in modeling putty or similar surface materials. The Basic set includes a handle, two texture rollers, and two stamps, providing several options for reproducing Zimmerit surface detail.

This tool is particularly useful for German WWII armor projects such as Panthers, Tigers, Panzer IVs, and other vehicles that require aftermarket Zimmerit detailing. The set requires assembly before use.

Beginner-Friendly Note: Applying Zimmerit takes some practice. Work with a thin, even layer of suitable modeling putty and practice on scrap plastic before applying the texture to your finished model.
