If additional thinning is desired, Squadron recommends using Scale Colors Thinner, distilled water, isopropyl alcohol (IPA), or a combination of these. Avoid using lacquer thinners or acrylic thinners from other manufacturers, as they may adversely affect the wash.

Application Tips

• Shake thoroughly before each use.
• Spray directly from the bottle or thin with Scale Colors Thinner, distilled water, IPA, or a combination if desired.
• Apply light coats to build weathering gradually.
• Allow the wash to settle into recessed details before removing excess if desired.
• Seal finished weathering with a clear coat for added durability.
• Allow approximately 24 hours for full curing before handling extensively.
