Product Description
Skill Level: Intermediate
Best For: Ship modelers who want the largest battleship of WWII for a 1/700 fleet.
The Tamiya IJN Battleship Yamato (31113) is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit.
Yamato and her sister Musashi were the largest battleships ever built, armed with 46cm (18.1-inch) main guns. This Tamiya Water Line Series kit brings the famous Imperial Japanese Navy flagship to a manageable 1/700 display size.
Beginner-Friendly Note: Ships have many small, delicate parts. Paint the deck and hull before adding the superstructure, and use tweezers and a little thin cement for the smallest fittings.
