Product Description

Skill Level: Beginner
Best For: Filling fit defects, gaps, and seams on scale-model vehicles and figures, and adding surface textures such as cast armor and rust.

Vallejo Plastic Putty (70.401) is a light, fluid modeling putty with a water-based formula, made for fixing fit defects and gaps on scale models of vehicles and figures. It comes in a 20 ml (0.67 fl oz) tube with a fine dispenser tip for precise placement, and it can also be applied with a brush or spatula.

The putty dries to a matt white finish, and filled areas can be primed or painted without any problem. It can also be thinned to create surface textures, such as the cast texture on armor or rust effects, so one tube serves for both cleanup and detailing.

Beginner-Friendly Note: The dispenser tip and fluid consistency make it easy to place a small amount of putty right where a gap needs filling, and its water-based formula makes it a simple, approachable filler for first builds.
