Historical Background

The F-16CJ Fighting Falcon entered service as the U.S. Air Force's premier Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) aircraft, replacing the F-4G Wild Weasel. Based on the Block 50 F-16C, the aircraft is equipped to carry the AGM-88 HARM missile for destroying enemy radar installations while retaining full multirole combat capability. Powered by the General Electric F110 engine, the F-16CJ combines exceptional maneuverability, advanced avionics, and precision-guided weapon capability.
