Academy 1/35 German StuG IV Sd.Kfz.167 "Ver. Early"

Build a highly detailed 1/35 scale German StuG IV Sd.Kfz.167 Early Version with this excellent kit from Academy.

The StuG IV was a World War II German assault gun based on the Panzer IV chassis, developed as a complement to the highly successful StuG III. The StuG IV combined the Panzer IV chassis with a low-profile superstructure and the powerful 7.5cm StuK L/48 gun, making it an effective tank destroyer and infantry-support vehicle during the later years of the war.

Academy's kit features finely detailed chassis and suspension components, a detailed fighting compartment, a slide-molded gun barrel and muzzle brake, and positionable hatches that can be displayed open or closed. The kit uses flexible rubber-style tracks and provides four finishing options representing StuG IV vehicles from different German units and theaters.

This is a 2018-era Academy tooling with excellent fit and detail, making it a great choice for both experienced armor builders and modelers looking for a relatively straightforward 1/35 German WWII armor project.
