Hobby Boss USS Boxer LHD-4 1/700 – 83405

Product Description

Skill Level: Intermediate
Best For: Ship modelers who want a modern U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship for a 1/700 fleet.

The Hobby Boss USS Boxer LHD-4 (83405) is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit of the U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship.

USS Boxer is a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, built to carry Marines, landing craft, helicopters and jump jets. Its full-length flight deck and island make it a striking addition to a 1/700 modern U.S. Navy collection.

Two decal sheets cover the flight deck markings and LHD-4 hull numbers, plus markings for the embarked aircraft and landing craft, including the AV-8B Harrier II Plus, MV-22 Osprey, CH-53E, CH-46, AH-1W, SH-60, LCAC and LCU.

Beginner-Friendly Note: Plan your painting before you start. Many sub-assemblies are easier to paint before final assembly. Use thin plastic cement sparingly and test-fit major parts before gluing.
