HobbyBoss 1/35 LVTP-7 Landing Vehicle Tracked-Personnel

Build a highly detailed 1/35 scale model of the LVTP-7 Landing Vehicle Tracked-Personnel, the amphibious assault vehicle that served as the U.S. Marine Corps' primary tracked amphibious personnel carrier beginning in the early 1970s.

The LVTP-7 represented a major improvement over the earlier LVTP-5, combining improved speed, mobility, protection, and troop-carrying capability. Fully amphibious, the vehicle could carry a crew of three along with up to 25 Marines from ship to shore. In 1985, the Marine Corps redesignated the upgraded vehicle as the AAV-7A1, reflecting the shift away from the traditional LVT designation.

The kit also features a multi-directional slide-molded lower hull and a crew entry door that can be positioned open or closed, allowing you to showcase the interior detail.
