Master Tools 40cm Universal Fine Chains Set – 2 Types – 06624

Product Description

Skill Level: Beginner
Best For: Adding real chain detail to armor, ships and dioramas in place of molded plastic chain.

The Master Tools 40cm Universal Fine Chains Set (06624) provides fine chain in two types, 40cm long, for adding realistic detail to scale models.

The two chain types give you a choice of link size: a finer chain with links about 1.5mm long and 0.8mm wide, and a heavier chain with links about 2mm long and 1.1mm wide. Real chain hangs and drapes naturally in a way molded plastic can't. Use it for tow and tie-down chains, anchor and deck details, stowage, or anywhere on a diorama that needs a convincing chain.

Beginner-Friendly Note: Cut the chain to length with sharp side cutters, and attach it with a small drop of super glue. A quick coat of paint or a rust wash helps it blend with the model.
