Verlinden U.S. MRE Cartons – Modern Field Rations 1/35 – 0022

Product Description

Skill Level: Intermediate
Best For: Adding modern U.S. field ration cartons to 1/35 military dioramas, vignettes, and vehicle stowage.

The Verlinden Productions U.S. M.R.E. Cartons (NR.0022) recreate the cardboard shipping cartons used for the U.S. military's Meal, Ready-to-Eat modern field rations, in 1/35 scale. The sheet is printed in a cardboard-brown finish with carton markings, including "MEAL, READY TO EAT, IND." and the case stenciling, already in place.

Each carton is printed as a flat outline with folding panels and tabs, so you can cut out and assemble cartons for supply dumps, stacked stores, or loose boxes on and around vehicles. A few ration cartons add an everyday, lived-in detail that helps a modern U.S. scene feel authentic.

Beginner-Friendly Note: These are small parts. A sharp hobby knife, a steel ruler, and a little patience make clean cuts and crisp folds much easier. Try assembling one carton first before you build the rest.
