G Early kit, this self-adhesive detail-up accessory accurately replicates the distinctive Zimmerit anti-magnetic mine coating applied to early-production Panther tanks during World War II.

Manufactured from ultra-thin, flexible material, the pre-textured sheets are precision cut to fit the hull, turret, and mantlet with minimal trimming. The realistic surface pattern eliminates the need to hand-sculpt Zimmerit, saving time while providing a highly authentic finish. Historical Background

Zimmerit was a paste-like coating applied to German armored vehicles between 1943 and late 1944 to prevent magnetic anti-tank mines from adhering to their armor. Applied by hand at the factory, the coating was combed into distinctive ridged patterns before hardening. Early-production Panther Ausf. G tanks left the factory with Zimmerit applied to the hull and turret, giving them their characteristic textured appearance. Although its use ended in late 1944, Zimmerit remains one of the defining features of early Panther tanks and is an essential detail for historically accurate scale models.
